The Ball
The Ball was fantastic!! It was held in a marquee in the grounds of Salisbury Cathedral (7 hour coach journey!), and amazingly for the UK the sun was shining, so we had Champagne out on the lawn to start off with, then a lovely meal and more Champagne, and then a lot of dancing. I didn't take my camera to the ball, as it's a bit on the bulky side, so here are some pictures of us at the hotel. I was really worried that the dress was a little on the short side, but it was a bargain £19.99 from TK Maxx and it was made of silk chiffon! I'm not normally drawn to yellow, but just fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it, don't suppose I'll ever wear it again :(

That dress is sooo cute. I know what you mean about yellow but it really suits you. If it was me I'd just have to wear it again. Lots. Dress it down with jeans or leggings. And the monster bag to go with it is fab. :o)
Your outfit is tops. Salisbury cathedral is lovely isn't it? They used to do an all night 'youth' event that I used to go to in my younger (holy) days. I have fond memories of dawn in the cloisters with a sung service going on in Latin. Really magical.
