Another Jumper bag...

Here is another jumper bag, this is my favourite so far. I love the colours. It was a monsoon jumper I acquired at a jumble sale, and to be honest I did think twice about felting it!! The flower is a detachable brooch, so it could be worn on a coat lapel. I have also made a choker to match and am working on some cuffs.

I have managed to get my hands on some old knitting machines so I can knit my own fabric to felt. I had a go on the knitmaster, and managed an inch before it all went wrong. I only had DK in my stash and think it's too thick, so I'll have to get some more wool (what a shame). The other machine is a singer, double bed, but unfortunately it has no instructions and it looks very complicated. I'll have to keep an eye on eBay for instruction manuals.

Hi Beth, Lovely colours. Try using alternate needles with DK and higher tension it should work better for you.

Thank you, I did try alternate needles and managed to knit about a cm more but it still got tangled and came off the needles at the end. It is very dusty so may be it justs needs a good clean!

I agree with you a good clean and oil should do it and maybe an extra weight?
